Cardiovascular Health with Garlic





Cardiovascular issues have been a big concern in recent years and has taken a toll on many lives across the globe. This is mainly caused due to changing lifestyle and inconsistent food habits. In Ayurvedic texts a very simple remedy for maintenance of cardiovascular health and prevention of related concerns is mentioned with a guided usage of garlic.

A small clove / pearl of raw garlic, when consumed every morning on an empty stomach helps to prevent many cardiovascular health issues and maintains a healthy heart. It also helps in lowering the cholesterol, blood purification, cold & cough, skin care and builds immunity. However it is advised to consume a regulated quantity of one or two raw garlic cloves / pearls per day as per individual health conditions. Some people find it easy to consume with a few drops of honey along with it due to pungent smell of garlic.
